JAKARTA - Novita Audi Muskita, along
with her attorney Elizabeth Tutupari, sought assistance from Quotient TV to
address an ongoing land inheritance issue in Ambon City.
According to Novita, a court decision that had gained final
legal force (inkrah) since 1950 and had been executed by the Ambon District
Court on April 6, 2011, is now being contested once again.
In 2023, the heirs were sued by several individuals claiming
ownership of the land, and the Ambon City District Court ruled in favor of the
plaintiffs without considering the defendants' evidence.
Alvin Lim, an advocate from LQ
Indonesia Law Firm, criticized the decision, emphasizing that dubious evidence
should not overturn valid evidence already established in a previous court
ruling.
He also urged the Supreme Court and the Judicial Commission
to be more meticulous in considering evidence in every case.
Elizabeth Tutupari expressed her hope that the Supreme Court
would carefully review all submitted documents to ensure justice prevails.
Novita Audi Muskita simply wants to reclaim her inheritance rights and obtain
the justice she deserves for her family.
